PenguinVPN Subscription (1, 3, 12 & 36 month options)
Our PenguinVPN service is an easy tool to protect your privacy on desktop GNU/Linux. While PenguinVPN was started to give less technical users an easy-to-adopt "just works" VPN solution via an add-on to our privacy focused mini wireless router it's grown into a popular tool amongst more technical users using it directly from the GNU/Linux desktop. So by popular demand we've been slowly adding documentation and videos on how to manually configure our PenguinVPN service on GNU/Linux.

This subscription can be utilized alongside our mini wireless router product or setup to be used directly from your favorite distribution. We currently have documentation for at least: KDE Neon, Deepin, Debian Buster, Ubuntu 16.04, 17.10, 18.04, 18.10, 19.04, 19.10, 20.04, 20.10, 21.04, 20.10, Fedora 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37 (2.0), openSUSE Leap 15 /w KDE, Linux Mint 18.x, 19.x, 20.x, 21.x (1.0), 21.x (2.0), and similar distributions with the Cinnamon desktop environment. As well as Parabola GNU/Linux-libre using either the GNOME or MATE desktop environment.

We now also have documentation for connecting to PenguinVPN 2.0 via WireGuard on Replicant/LineageOS/GrapheneOS/Android and other similar Android-based systems.

There is now also documentation on how to switch servers/countries on PenguinVPN 2.0 Wireguard setups using either a desktop distribution or a libreCMC router.
  • Subscriptions aren't auto-renewed: Don't want to continue a "subscription"? Just let it lapse!

  • Prevent ISP surveillance : Many ISPs log access to websites, emails, and other communications

  • Bypass Website Blocking and Censorship : Many ISPs have begun blocking traffic to perfectly legal websites

  • Thwart ISP Throttling : Many ISPs slow down certain types of traffic when it benefits them financially to do so

  • Stop VOIP Blocking : Many ISPs offer phone services and don't like competition from third party services

  • Stop video throttling: Many ISPs offer entertainment services and take steps to make third party services unusable

  • Stop the threats : Many companies abuse the courts to obtain ISP contact information for harassing and threatening purposes

  • Stop privacy invasive targeted advertising : Advertisers often use IP and geo-location data to target advertising

Help us improve our documentation by telling us what your favorite GNU/Linux distribution and version are. While we make no guarantees in regards to adding new documentation or supporting a particular platform we regularly add documentation for new distributions and versions as demand and time permit.

* Include a GPG public key in the comment section at checkout if you would like to receive VPN login credentials via a more secure mechanism.

* Please note that if you are paying with cryptocurrency at checkout we do NOT require accurate identification information other than an email address and as such customers should feel free to enter bogus information provided that no other shipping products are in your shopping cart. We can also accept money orders/checks for this product (this offer is limited to low dollar purchases, ie all VPN subscriptions) that are mailed in (see about page for mailing address) provided that an email address is included to send VPN credentials and it is clear what you are attempting to purchase (printed copies of the checkout page work great).

Please let us know if you need a new VPN account or would simply like to extend an expired PenguinVPN subscription. If the later please make sure to let us know your PenguinVPN username or a prior order # in which you've purchased a subscription.

If you are renewing a subscription please enter your old order #. We are shutting down our oldest VPN infrastructure and won’t be renewing pre-2023 subscriptions. Please select to obtain a new account instead if your current subscription pre-dates ~2023.

We have support for two different VPN protocols. OpenVPN is commonly utilized on the desktop and we also have support Wireguard now, a newer more efficient VPN protocol that offers faster speeds when utilized with our routers.
