An uninterruptible power supply (UPS), offers guaranteed power protection for connected electronics. When power is interrupted, or fluctuates outside safe levels, a UPS will instantly provide clean battery backup power and surge protection for plugged-in, sensitive equipment. Great for use with computers and peripherals such as monitors, modems, and networking equipment.

This unit delivers enough battery backup to power connected electronics through utility power failure and enough runtime to perform a graceful shutdown to protect against the loss of data and damage to valuable electronics during longer outages. In tests we were able to maintain power for approximately 30 minutes with a Penguin Pro desktop system and 21" monitor connected. Automatic suspend and/or shutdown functionality built into most distributions can ensure your data is not lost even when you are not able to immediately shut down a system yourself.

USB charging ports with 2.1 amp shared total output which gives you a faster charging time. This unit is designed to minimize noise for a quieter work environment and to run efficiently to reduce power consumption.
